April 23rd 12-1p.m. This is a Visibility Event at the Citizens Bank location at 20 Highland Street, Plymouth. We do have 10 two-sided pre-made signs but you are welcome to bring your own homemade signs. Citizens Bank will be holding their Annual Shareholder Meeting at its headquarters in Providence, RI on the same day. In response, a coalition of progressive organizations will be holding a peaceful standout called "The People's Shareholder Meeting to De-ICE Citizens Bank" outside of the headquarters building. Join us at Citizens Bank to stand in solidarity – to push back on Citizens decision to be in key financial relationships with CoreCivic and The GEO Group: two notorious for-profit prison corporations that build and operate immigration detention facilities for ICE, provide transportation services to ICE, and operate prisons for mass incarceration.
