Looking for a new social media home to get away from the trash heaps on Facebook and Twitter.

From time to time there will probably be some posts about other things like #sports and #gaming.

I also plan on using this space as a bit of a journaling platform to share things about Mental Health and as well as some of my own struggles.

@kirby @jame As much of the fediverse has interested me in the past I have to admit that with a lot of idea of using either of bluesky or threads is interesting because of how many of businesses or content creators that I am interested are moving there but don't really have a presence on Mastodon with the exception of hashtags.
@jame interesting. Some of the talk I have seen is that there are a lot of the toxic nature hast started to make it way to #bluesky I am sure most of this is a matter of opinion.

I know it is run by the evil empire that is #Meta, but with it growing to the Fediverse now and being a place a lot of user from the former bird site are flocking to is it now starting to be relative?

Correct me if I am wrong that is something just in Ubuntu right? I mean is it then filtering down to things but on Ubuntu like Mint?

@delial just to be sure you are running actual Debian and not something based on that right? I have actually tried it but been down a lot of the many levels of Ubuntu forks when I was looking for diatros before.

@mavu that is one I tried before and I really liked it. The search functions for opening apps were really awesome.
