The Golden Kiss

Some more oldies in an avenue of veteran and ancient Beech trees in Dorset.

This was one of those moments where observation and anticipation are so important. This rather beautiful golden light mixed with mist lasted less than a minute before the mist thickened and snuffed the light out completely.

Feeling simultaneously deeply validated at work, and deeply invalidated by something going on in not-work (not with family) and it's a very weird and kind of emotionally confusing place to be.

There's something about mindfulness that Jon Kabat-Zinn calls experiencing "The full catastrophe" of life. All the wildness that is being alive and being curious about it and experiencing it.

#Today was a Full Catastrophe day, and looking back I kind of can't believe how much day was in today.
