Goslings
I captured these goslets going towards the river due to people coming in fast w cellphones to get vids of them. They asked how I get photos of them when all they get is the backs of them running away. I told them to go slowly and crouch down. No sudden movements or you will scare them. I hope it helps them. I was able to get great photos of these goslets eating n wondering around exploring the area. Was wonderful to witness them.
Evolution did not prepare me for the stress of four spam calls every day.

My first trip to Frank Lake was a huge success for me. I got to see my first pelican in person and see how beautiful the lake is. I absolutely love the lake and would be going more often time permitted.

Great Blue Heron
Was thrilled to see him this evening, e ate crayfish looked around a little n curled his neck. Last time I saw him he took off so βΉ quickly pulled back with my lens and was able to catch him in takeoff mode!

Was so excited to see this bird in person. A lifer for me. I was able to take a few quick photos before he was scared off by a dude coming in close with his cellphone and a large BARKING, lunging dog. He was so intent on getting closer to the bird that he tripped on the uneven ground. I thought Rats. He didnβt fall into the scummy pond! Bad Wendy!
