#Opensource password manager Bitwarden is adding an extra layer of security for accounts that are not protected by two-factor authentication, requiring email verification before allowing access to accounts.
When a potentially suspicious login attempt is detected, like from an unrecognized device, the user will now prompted to confirm the action by entering a verification code they received via email.

Does anyone have suggestions for browser favorites syncing? I’m going to be ditching #firefox sync when I move to another browser. I won’t be using Google Chrome based browsers.

Wat betreft vrije #opensource software denk ik niet zozeer in landen of machtsblokken. Vaak bestaat een vrij opensource-project uit een wereldwijde community. Dat neemt niet weg dat de jurisdictie van belang is. Maar Signal kan dus weinig aan autoriteiten verschaffen.
Signal is helaas overigens nogal gecentraliseerd.
