We've had a thing in the @ExilianOfficial community for some years of celebrating Cyril & Methodius day - their western feast day is Feb 14 so for people who don't or won't celebrate Valentine's day and want something else to do that isn't just feeling grumpy about mass-market heart balloons, taking it as a day of reading, alphabets and languages is quite a nice alt-celebration, :)

In the interest of posting stuff that is not just a storm of metaposts and intros, today's share is a panel from the Coding Medieval Worlds workshop 2022, as I start gearing up to think about the 2023 one.

CMW is a joint workshop of historians and developers: this panel featured scholars talking about their views on medieval Africa, India, Byzantium & Ireland to get a wider view on the Middle Ages in games.
