Been a while #Gardening
Trimmed back the tomatoes and weeded... it's been a bit of a challenge feeling motivated for gardening this year it seems. I did harvest the peas yesterday.
I'm a PNW based hobbit who works in #GameAudio. But I love sharing #Gardening, raising #Dogs, #Crafts, #Cats, and #cuisine. EN & FR
I also have #Lupus #TurnerSyndrome and #NVLD

I know, I didn't update on my trip... got home and returned to some gorgeous flowers in my front bed.
Tulips are popping! Woah turns out one of the iris is Outstanding Drawf Iris. Which we had ordered the Martian dwarf and a Nice Job iris so... oh well? Guess I may need to buy more at some point. :p
For me personally, I'm looking at this as an antithesis experience to the time we traveled to the Salton Sea in the California desert. An ecological disaster, that place represents death and despair. That trip was following a major tragedy we experienced.
In learning of Soap Lake, we thought this would be a fitting post pandemic trauma/ #lupus challenges adventure.
So, here is to a hopeful healing experience!
Fun fact... Soap Lake is a mineral lake. Before the invention of antibiotics and other pharmaceuticals, many people with ailments flocked to this lake that was known to cure different sicknesses.
The mud and water are supposed to be very good for skin and joint issues. Some people with #autoimmune illnesses have even moved there to seek relief.
Potted up my tomatoes before I leave for vacation. It is still way too cold for them to be planted outside but they are growing and I've even had to pinch off some blooms. Hoping I can keep them healthy until they go into the ground.
Tulips this morning 🌹
This weekend was jammed packed with gardening. We planted 70 new plants into the back planter 🫨
We layered compost over the leaf litter to continue working on the soil of this planter. It's taken a few years to amend it without being able to till due to the tree roots.
First Tuplip has bloomed!
Hey hey #GameAudio
