I'm a huge Eurovision fan. This song is my current obsession. It made to the Swedish finale next week . It has an uphill fight to win, up against a former Eurovision winner. You don't have to know Swedish to like it.

So I went to the Costco in Woodinville, WA today. (oops, I said Monroe, but it's not quite that far east)

Crazy busy but I didn’t get rammed with a cart even once.

I was noticing the customers were of all kinds of racial and ethnic backgrounds, speaking in whatever language they wanted, etc. It was awesome.

That’s the country I want to see. Exclude the capitalist part here, I’m meaning the racial and ethnic diversity.

Vacation starts today!

I'm flying to Chicago today. Will see Wait Wait Don't Tell Me tonight, tomorrow Second City. Saturday we board California Zephyr (sleeper car) for SF sightsee for a few days. Then take the Amtrak Coast Starlight (again sleeper) to Seattle. Looking forward to the #FremontFair and hanging out in one of my favorite cities.

Looking to relax on the Zephyr taking in the scenery. I haven't been to SF in over 20 years. I know it's changed and I've braced myself for it.

Just found out that there is a free taping of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me next Thursday June 13th in Millennium Park in Chicago.

Guess who is going to be in Chicago next Thursday? ME!!!!!

I know what I'm doing that night!!

I'm so excited. Except i know the panelists will be Paula Poundstone, Roy Blount Jr and Dulce Sloan (my least favorite panelists).

Compleled the Covered Bridges Half Marathon today. What a hot day for the run. RealFeel temp at 10am when i finished was 83.

I've run this race for 14 years and every year I get anxious before it starts. I train will for it so no reason to be anxious. This year even the heat i averaged did well and averaged 9 minutes 5 seconds per mile! Not too shabby for a 63 year old old guy!!!

Celebrated with beer and crepes!!!

The Airbnb house we are staying at the television allows us to watch YouTube, Netflix and AmazonPrime. When we went to watch YouTube the previous guests at the house hadn't signed out. Their subscription channels were all MAGA right wing channels.

So, we had some fun. We added some new subscription channels for them - MSNBC, Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, Rachel Maddow. 😃

Just a relaxing day before the #CBHM up here in Vermont. Did a relaxing 30 minute run this morning, had a sweet and savory crepe at #SkinnyPancake. Don (my husband) has left for a hike and i am lounging in the couch here in the Airbnb spending the afternoon reading. The house is small and cozy with nice furnishings.

The hubby and I are up in Vermont (Woodstock/Quechee) for my running of the Covered Bridges Half Marathon #CBHM on Sunday. A great area for a long weekend getaway-quintessential Vermont. We've been coming here for the race for over 10 years for R&R - except for Sunday morning when I'm running 13.1 miles 🙂

We'll visit #SugarbushFarms to restock on maple syrup, visit #SimonPearce glassblowing and restaurant for dinner Sunday and eat many meals at #SkinnyPancake for best sweet and savory crepes
