The more we decarbonize, the more power we take away from the GOP.

I've now successfully electrified my car, mower, snow blower, power washer and house. All of this is 100% solar charged. I make a large enough surplus that the utility even cuts me an annual check because I put more into the grid than I use. The cash I'm saving is insane, and my 2017 solar energy system hit ROI in 2023. #solar #renewables #solarpower #cleanenergy

@brianvastag - they get the job done. A little more expensive, but with the tariffs that have been in place on Chinese solar panels since 2014 - they’re close. The US have imported panels from China for a while. Southeast Asia has been the rage since 2018-2020.

Price of electricity is up enough that even domestic stuff works.

@brianvastag maybe ten
@brianvastag - haven’t bought a solar panel from China in more than five years. Most of my modules are made in Georgia.
My hobby: trolling the solar industry by, for example, accurately describing SEG Solar, whose website says "Born and Raised in the USA" as "a US firm spun out of Chinese Jiangsu Seraphim in 2023".
@Nathanpboston - I don't deal with thermostats, only the battery side, so I need to ask a friend. If I can get a useful answer I'll let you know.
@Nathanpboston - what is your question?
