I've now successfully electrified my car, mower, snow blower, power washer and house. All of this is 100% solar charged. I make a large enough surplus that the utility even cuts me an annual check because I put more into the grid than I use. The cash I'm saving is insane, and my 2017 solar energy system hit ROI in 2023. #solar #renewables #solarpower #cleanenergy
@Lydie looks like two or three times the roof area in panels, total?

@Lydie That looks awesome; seriously jealous.

Random thought: would you be able to grow mushrooms underneath the panels?

@Lydie Power was out for 7 hours today… and I wasn't affected in the slightest. Solar + storage is good for everyone, and it's especially good for the owner when they suddenly go off-grid.

@Lydie it warms my heart. I just don't understand why so many are still all in on drill-baby-drill? Is it because that's what their bougie master told them to think, or do they really have some visceral connection with burning things for power? Like they don't understand electric power - it's too intellectual or not macho enough for them? Like I said, I don't get it. Being independent of big oil and the grid should be on everyone's radar and must have list.
