My dumb ass and my dumb friends did dumb things with fireworks when we were in high school. The difference is that all of this happened in a part of the country where it rained constantly, even in July. Doesn't mean it wasn't stupid; it still was. I can't even imagine lighting off any kind of fireworks where I live now, though. It's just too dry. I wish they would just ban all fireworks across the entire state, honestly. If it were already unreasonably difficult to start a forest fire by literally trying to, that would be different. Someone could throw a cigarette out the window here, and there would be a fire.
