“He who saves his Country does not violate any law,” Donald Trump said yesterday.
Two possible reactions:
1) Continue on the trajectory that got us here in the first place by discarding this as “just Trump being Trump”
2) Grapple in earnest with the fact that Trump asserts dictatorial power as the providential leader tasked with saving the nation.
This is acutely dangerous.
Now that Elon Musk has successfully helped bring Trump back into The White House, Musk has set his sights on the EU.
Here he is telling his 206 million followers that the EU is undemocratic by sharing Cypriot YouTuber and MEP Fidias' latest video.
Musk is a danger to democracy, and I hope our members of parliament realize before the EU suffers the same fate as the US.

Today, we are at day 777 of the Ukraine war, and I wonder if the US will beat the 828 day record, before finally deciding that Vladimir Putin must be defeated.
Instead of saying all Palestinians are Hamas, or all Israelis are Likud, listen to the people on both sides who want peace.
