A Russian disinformation campaign is making AI fakes of celebrities to spread false claims about Ukraine arming Iran with US weapons

The operation, dubbed "Matryoshka" (Russian nesting doll), is aimed at undermining support for Ukraine. To do it, Russians use Cameo, a website where people can request personalized messages from celebrities. Then, deep fakes are generated from the small pieces of video.

This is disgusting: water companies have been dumping toxic sewage sludge on UK farms — and turns out it can be packed with microplastics and harmful chemicals. This sludge is polluting our rivers and contaminating the soil that grows our food. Regulators in USA even warn this could pose a cancer risk. We need government to clamp down on this immediately. Putin Allies Block Ukraine Aid!

The EU summit failed to lift the veto on the 20th sanctions package against Russia and plans to allocate a €90 billion loan to Kyiv.

The document was supported by 25 of the 27 EU member states - all except Hungary and Slovakia.

Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever stated before the summit that the EU has a "Plan B" in case Orbán blocks aid to Ukraine – but he said disclosing details publicly would be "unwise."
