The question is: Will the EU government be able to protect the EU against all odds? I guess political changes are necessary & urgent. A veto from one member on vital decisions is no longer acceptable. We need fast & strong decisions in a changing world. We need decisions based on qualified majority.
Boarding Air Force One in Beijing, the entire U.S. delegation dumped EVERYTHING the Chinese hosts gave them - gifts, badges, pins, souvenirs - straight into a trash bin at the bottom of the stairs.
“Nothing from China allowed on the plane.”
They even left all personal phones at home and ran the whole trip on clean burner phones.
