From today, people in the U.S. will be able to vaccinate themselves and their children against the flu. The FluMist nasal spray, which has been on the market since 2003, was approved last year for self- and caregiver administration, though with some limitations based on age and health. The vaccine still requires a prescription. Manufacturer AstraZeneca says it can be accessed by completing an online screening questionnaire, and most insurance plans will cover it at no cost. It will then be shipped to your home. Here's more from @abc.
