Lovely to see the Little Floofs, oops, sorry, the Little Grebes changing into their Summer plumage. I have many favourite birds, and Dabchicks (as Little Grebes are also known) are definitely amongst them! This one was photographed at Brandon Marsh last week.

I finally got to see some Waxwings today! 😍

While visiting Brandon Marsh near Coventry I was told that Waxwings were present. I have waited years to see these birds! I found the spot where they were active, and eventually a dozen or so landed in a bush just a few metres away from me. Wow, just wow!

These birds are absolute rock stars and I am beyond thrilled to have seen them at last.
