I'm finding it odd to pop in here after being away from social media for over a year. Do I like it? Is it something I want to do with my time? It's a whole new, rapidly expanding community. Very few "friends" (or friends) are here. But it has a different feel. I guess I still want to share things with whomever might be interested, so, I have a lot of photos and maybe some old artwork that could use some air. My preference is for a sense of order, though, so I'm struggling with sequencing. #Photo

The single day of visiting (sandwiched between the 800 km driving days) had us walking to a penny sale at the local church, then spending the rest of the day and evening sorting our mother's belongings that bro' brought up from her trailer in Florida last winter. I brought some of her clothes to the residence today. She was in great spirits, but I'm not sure she recognized what I brought.

My brother is retiring from the railroad after 41 years. Am heading up to Northern Ontario to join the surprise retirement party for him in the only restaurant in his small town. Ten hours up, ten hours down. See you Tuesday.

What's the next photo? I think I'll just put up whatever strikes me at the time. My problem is that I like to point a camera at almost everything, so there probably won't be any kind of logical flow. I wander around Ottawa, especially Petrie Island, in the Orléans area.
This photo is from Wakefield, Quebec, though. Sometimes it feels like we're going against the current, eh?
