Once again, I'm reminded of how much the billionaire space race has absolutely destroyed my love of rockets.

10 years ago, I definitely would have been paying close attention to the current giant SpaceX launch. But because I know it's going to be used to launch hundreds of unregulated, unsafe, polluting, for-profit Starlink satellites at once, I just can't look.

Instead of being excited and awestruck by a new gigantic rocket launch, it just makes me want to puke.

Here in Britain, we regularly eat the leftovers of a sea that came and went 220 million years ago, when the first dinosaurs were just getting started. More than half of our salt (57%) is mined from Middlewich in Cheshire, which was sitting in the tropics (15 N) in the middle of an arid desert. The shallow basin flooded & dried up repeatedly, leaving a thick layer of salt that’s still there today. Edible rock is a bit weird, but enjoy putting it on your chips! #ocean #salt

After 13 years, #Twitter has made certain you won't be able to see a tweet on #Flipboard ever again.

Today Twitter turned off their API integration without regard for Twitter users who enjoyed seeing tweets on their Flipboard.

While Twitter is enabling payment for some API access, the approach they've taken is prohibitively expensive, unreliable and frankly untrustworthy. I can't imagine us or anyone else ever relying on Twitter again for anything.
