Yesterday was a sticky day. Lost my wordcount streak, my wordgame streaks, barely got anything done, didn't get an important text — executive disfunction just generally kicked my ass all day.
Today...is worse. You'd think I'd be a little more used to people letting me down at this point but omg...
It's lucky I live so close to the beach coz it's going to make walking into the sea that much easier...fml

Thought I had a monster in the bag on #4thewords tonight but then the bluebottle I zapped with the electric fly-swatter earlier somehow rose from the dead and bumbled around tormenting the dog like a fricken flying zombie long enough that I lost my battle and Mika ate my last rich tea biscuit. It's been a long fricken day.

I find it helps me to have a hard goal and a much smaller soft goal for those days when I'm not feeling it. Really helps take the pressure off. So far so good this year! #amwriting #nanowrimo

So, try not to be too hard on yourself if you don’t make your goal. Write from your heart and celebrate your creativity.
