KNOPPIX is a bootable disc with a collection of GNU/Linux software, automatic hardware detection, and support for many graphics cards, sound cards, SCSI and USB devices, and other peripherals. KNOPPIX can be used as a Linux demo, educational disc, rescue system, or adapted and used as a platform for commercial software product demos. When starting a program, it is loaded from the removable medium and decompressed into a RAM drive. The decompression is transparent and on-the-fly.

Hello Everyone , When we speak of Free Software, we mean freedom, not price. Debian which is free software and strong supporter of free software has several distributions created by several entities to get their work done.

Many of these distributions dedicatedly serve their purposes and enhance.
There are many derivates which are worth to know and learn about them.
