Four views of the flowers from close and further away. They grow in clusters of about 10 flowers, each is semi-double and the most delicate warm pink washed over white petals. Each petal is rounded at the outer end. The stamens are golden yellow and sit neatly apart from each other.

#Euphorbia characias ssp wulfenii, Wulfen's #Spurge. This grows all over Vancouver - it's drought tolerant, evergreen, and rugged. The flowers smell like rotting meat to attract flies, as here.

C_B@tippitiwichet more by accident that design I left Judith Hindle and a purpurea cross outside in the fall until they went dormant, then brought them inside - they immediately started growing again and are now bigger and healthier than I could have expected. I think I'll do something like this on purpose from now on.
