Afghanistan 🇦🇫A series of important security, economic, and political issues were discussed at a coordination meeting in Kandahar province, attended by the governors of Afghanistan’s seven zones.
In a press release sent to Radio Hurriyet, Hafiz Muhammad Basharat, spokesperson for the Kabul provincial administration, stated that the governors of Kandahar, Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Nangarhar, Kunduz, and Paktia participated in the meeting.
According to information in the press release, alongside several important security, economic, and political issues, discussions were held and necessary decisions made regarding the implementation of directives from the Leadership Council of the Islamic Emirate, further strengthening security, preventing the cultivation, trafficking, purchase, and sale of narcotics, and related matters.
It is noteworthy that, according to a decree from the Leadership Council of the Islamic Emirate, the governors of these provinces also hold leadership positions for their respective zones in addition to governing their own provinces.
