Everything in the Trump administration is a source for manipulation. Here is the travel advisories map from Marco Rubio's Department of State:

🔵 Traveling to Kazakhstan Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan: No problem.

🟡 Traveling to completely safe EU countries like Denmark, Sweden or Germany: Exercise increased caution.

@randahl It is not like Ukraine hits civilians all the time unlike Russia, so maybe yellow could be defensible, although I would put it at orange.

But Americans have nothing to fear in Germany. Except being verbally insulted for having elected the worst president in history (so far). But I do not think verbal insults bring one to level 2 - and if they do, better color Switzerland and Poland yellow too. Americans will be insulted there too - just like in Germany and France.

@divVerent Ah, but did you consider the Danger of Woke all over Western Europe?

@randahl

@riley @randahl That immense danger one can defend against entirely by simply not reading and listening?

I get it.

In Poland, only 30% speak English, in Germany it's more like 50%.

The dangerous woke stuff, they simply are less likely to _notice_ it as it's more likely to be in Polish which they can't read and understand.

@randahl Are you confusing Kazakhstan with some region inside Russia or am I _completely_ out of the loop?
@troed
I think he is. Tatarstan perhaps?
@randahl

@notsoloud @troed

My mistake.

I did not realize that the bombing of Kazakhstan's oil pipeline happened inside Russia.

I have updated the post.

Thank you.

@randahl Kazakhstan is regularly bombed by Ukraine? I don't think so.

@jgrg you are right.

I did not realize that the bombing of Kazakhstan's oil pipeline happened inside Russia.

I have updated the post.

Thank you.

Sorry @randahl , I think you've gotten confused. Please link to ONE example of Ukraine bombing Kazakhstan or retract 😃

@notsoloud you are right.

I did not realize that the bombing of Kazakhstan's oil pipeline happened inside Russia.

I have updated the post.

Thank you.

@randahl

Trump is "Fat and Furious" that he broke the middle-east and now no one want to fix it for him.

@randahl During the Cold War (in 1982), I backpacked from Japan to Western Europe through the Do Not Travel zone as a private tourist. Glad I was able to take advantage of travel opportunities then open to US passport holders.
@randahl Hahaha Wat een losers. Laat ze lekker in de VS blijven
@randahl Coloring Western Europe yellow is probably vindictiveness but what genuinely puzzles me is why Zambia seems to be the only place in Africa that is marked safe.
@mkoek Trump has not succeeded in appointing ambassadors to many countries, so they probably do not know about all the safe places.
@randahl
We all remember Pete Hoekstra. 🙄
@mkoek

@randahl If I recall correctly where the MAGAiots got their fear of Sweden from it's that we're supposedly run over by Islamists.

... which says a lot about what they know of Turkmenistan.

@troed @randahl Apparently, according to the advisories, it's "possible" terrorism in Sweden and much of Europe.

But we don't have a terrorist in charge...

@randahl You can trust nothing this regime says about anything.
@randahl and then theres this yellow piece of land towards the west, so Americans should exercise increased caution when travelling to... the US?
@cookingroffa @randahl No, that is Greenland. It should have been orange or red, for Rubio.
@ArtHarg ah yes, you're right. @randahl
@cookingroffa @ArtHarg @randahl
But don’t be ashamed… even presidents sometimes make the mistake of calling Greenland a part of the USA…
@randahl
Vicinity to The Hague might be dangerous for members of the war crime producing US junta.
@randahl I hope I will never see Marco Rubio in my country, but it is blue :(
EU must be stronger so our local politics would stop revolving around „US will save us if Russians decide to attack“, as it clearly is getting less and less true.
@ttrasuns @randahl Mine is blue as well, but we, as a whole, are very against the present US government. We are generally an open and very well-educated people with really minimal crime problems (nearly zero).

@randahl

Tell me this is an April fool’s day joke? Please?

@randahl in our world Manipulation is all around us. We just have to distinguish if it is good or bad. The trump administration, I do not trust them. They use manipulation for their own gain.
@randahl
lol andorra

@qole @randahl

An island of hope in a sea of orange hatred. 🤣

@bundyo @qole @randahl

Andorra is our stealthing agent... to lure the yanks in...

@qole How nice of them to use Ukraine's flag colours.

@randahl

@randahl "normal precautions..." not sure that... oh... I think Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, are affected by the illegal war against Iran, sort of based on my geography understanding... Which I wouldn't call great.
@randahl Exercise caution. You may encounter liberal and openly gay people.
@randahl My street were I live is level 4, red for Americans - do not travel. 😂
@randahl Have you realised the dangers of Antarctica?

@randahl to be fair, Kazakhstan is actually mostly safe country, perhaps "contains areas with higher security risks", but otherwise is really mostly very friendly.

But the safety division of Europe is ridiculous, of course. Pure propaganda. There may be occasional no-go zones, but they are as likely in Balkans countries, as in Western Europe.

@randahl yeah, even let’s say Malmo in Sweden which was on European measures little bit gang wild is significantly safer that let’s say any US city.
@randahl On the bright side, Israel, the super ally/friend/brother of the U.S is marked in red 😁 …
… also, I wonder what would be the color of the U.S if they applied the same criteria they applied to the rest of the world.
@randahl blame yourself for not having a head of state that is good golfer 😜
@randahl
The yellow countries on Europe, are those the ones that have said they will come to Greenlands defense when the US invades? If so, the map seems pretty accurate, the US is known for bombing civilians.

@randahl
TBH Randahl I really wouldn't feel safe if I were a maga supporter abroad in Denmark.
So, in some form there may be some accuracy here.

Ha har, just kidding, they don't travel.

@electric_gumball MAGA folks don't feel safe ANYWHERE. I've never met a more paranoid group of people. Some of them pack heat while shopping, because you know, "You never know."
@randahl I’d never travel to America while Trump’s in power, and personally think King Charles III shouldn’t either…
@AGT NO ONE should travel to the US right now, unless they absolutely have to. It is not safe here, for anyone.
@randahl ils n'ont pas tout à fait tort. L'UE est une dictature dont il faut se méfier.

@albert4064 Your entire (very short) posting history is like badly written bumper stickers by a desperately edgy teenager who's been reading Ayn Rand.

Blocked. I hope you grow out of this in a few years. For your sake, if no one else's.

@randahl Morocco and Western Sahara are separated countries but not for the Rubio gang. They want to eliminate the UN peace mission in the UXO ridden area just as the border on this map of theirs.
@randahl Although travel to the UK and France is surrounded by concerns, there is no objection to traveling to the tax havens of Jersey and Guernsey.

@niekvleeuwen I assume they're basing that on violent incidents in those countries within the last few years, but as with any place, it depends on many factors.

I knew a US family who worried about a relative living in France, because.. well, you know. But France is a big place. They just didn't get it. Meanwhile, we have mass shootings practically every week here at home, and they don't seem to think that our own country is dangerous.

It's a baffling kind of stupidity.

@wesdym yep, and a toddler as president
