FIVE chapters left to edit in Book-5.

It’s crazy, but I began worldbuilding Carrdia and writing its first story simultaneously, including realizing I needed at least a preliminary map.

I grabbed a scrap sheet of paper, flipped it over, and went wild sketching. At least 85% of that map endured.

What would’ve happened to my stories, I wonder, if I’d sketched a different map?

I'd be the grizzled old man telling tales of Wanderer's Stream before it dried up. As long as the ale doesnt.

@wordsmith I always loved that name for that reason. The stream did survive into the present, but doesn't appear on the updated map because it'd be behind "Carrdia."

In Carrdia history, there was a battle fought there that was the beginning of the end of Dremm's Rebellion when Riparia was still quite young. That's a tale Becker Nigh would tell over ale. He was there, and almost died, but lived to old age when he became Riparia's guardian.
