Going to do a listening party for the new Convair EP, "Longing Heart of the North Star". It will be next Thursday at 10 PM UTC (aka 6 PM EDT or 2 PM AKDT). I'll be using Bandcamp's built in listening party hosting so sadly there won't be any fun video to go along with it, but I really didn't want to use YouTube for this. I'll throw up a more official post soon.

I caught up on Black Mirror and shouldn't have bothered. Once it went to netflix it really did crater. The only moral I found in the later episodes is "don't bother watching shallow crap from these people". The entire point of the show was the message. It went from Banksy to that graffiti of a thuggish teddy bear on the wall of a shop in town, in an attempt at a Banksy. The speech bubble reads "What you looking at?". I'd rather see the brickwork.

If you really want to "democratize art," give massive funding to arts programs. I should be able to apply for a grant to realize the idea I just had for a big band/crooner type song about being a werewolf. The money should hire actual musicians who can make a living doing niche silliness like this.
