Subscribed to Apple TV again, just long enough to watch For All Mankind. So what else should I watch that is not sci-fi?
@Shelly Bad Monkey was really entertaining

@Shelly If you were subscribed before you may seen these already:

Shrinking is delightful — a comedy about grieving with Jason Segel and Harrison Ford.

Slow Horses is a terrific British show about terrible spies. It has a great cast.

If war stories are your thing, Masters of the Air is pretty good, covering the American bomber squadron based in Britain during WWII.

(And of course there’s a lot of terrific shows that *are* sci-fi…)

@Shelly If you like documentaries, I thought Omnivore was really well done. Each episode looks at a different ingredient and where it comes from
@Shelly Shrinking is so good. Harrison Ford is amazing in that role and Bill Lawrence’s style is all over it
@Shelly Shrinking, Pachinko, and Silo would be my top recs
@Shelly your friends and neighbors.

@Shelly

“Come See Me in the Good Light”
“The Lost Bus”
“Killers of the Flower Moon”
“The Tragedy of Macbeth”
“The Studio”

@Shelly I feel like such a light weight after all of these good suggestions, but Ted Lasso?
@Shelly Acapulco, I think is severely underrated.
@Shelly The Completely Made Up Adventures of Dick Turpin
@Shelly Bad Monkey
@jsnell @Shelly The two unsung shows in the repertoire are "The Last Thing He Said" and "Platonic". The former has an emotional resonance similar to "Station 11" and the latter is pretty comfortable in its humor.
@ppatel @jsnell @Shelly I also loved down cemetery road
@Shelly Slow Horses is fantastic. If you like it, then Down Cemetery Road should also appeal. For comedy then Shrinking, Trying and Ted Lasso. I enjoyed Servant if you like weird creepy things. See is amazing although it took me a couple of episodes to get into it as it feels like it might be a bit over-serious to start with. Severance if one of the best things I’ve ever seen on tv since Twik Peaks, but is technically probably sci-fi, as is Pluribus which is also great.
@Shelly OMG I don’t know how I forgot to mention Pluribus That is the show to watch and prepare to binge ASAP
