By the way, Audio Hijack currently only lets you filter in 100Hz increments, so I can't hit 1.3333, only 1.3, which requires you to expand the filter to catch the hum and it makes things sound bad. I talked to Rogue Amoeba and they're going to consider ways to better target specific frequencies.
Apologies to anyone out there who can't hear 1.3333kHz or 2.66666kHz, but I'm 55 and I can still hear it clearly 😂
New Upgrade: The Mac Pro is dead, iOS 18 security updates are now available for all, and Siri's upcoming revamp comes into focus. After all that's done, both hosts share their Apple origin stories.
I don't know why NASA TV lets those horrible hums at 1.33KHz and 2.66KHz out into the world, but I just filtered them out on my Mac using iZotope and Audio Hijack. 😬
