People keep saying Trump lied throughout his 2024 election campaign.
I think he predicted the future.

You could take your pick, but I'm leaning towards the two being Donald Trump and John Barron.
@randahl
economic collapse is because of two events
the federal reserve founded in 1913
going off the precious metal (gold, silver) standard in 1971
When the market crashed in 2008 there hasn't been a recovery: Everything since then is aftershocks.
The only solution is to get back on the gold standard. At this point I don't think any administration or congress could actually do it. A state could do it, at least technically.
@soapone @randahl No. Rampant enshittification, corporate consolidation, the '08 crash based on a real estate bubble, the turn away from the the rules based world order, the rising trend to nationalism, gold/silver still being seen as the safe place to put money in times of unrest, and everything else has nothing to do with leaving the precious metal standard.
Gold.

@randahl Americans don't have to complain. They knew what they were voting for.
@randahl Tiny brain:
trump says it like it is!
Normal brain: trump is lying about everything!
Big brain: trump sincerely believes what he is saying is true, and thus cannot lie; rather his cabinet intentionally withhold negative numbers from him. His lashing out about the Epstein files comes from him actually trying to lie and being really bad at it.
Galaxy brain: trump says it like it *will* be!
@randahl the stock market is about to crash.
Everyone is taking off money from us and put it in “ex-us” markets.
