economic collapse is because of two events
the federal reserve founded in 1913
going off the precious metal (gold, silver) standard in 1971
When the market crashed in 2008 there hasn't been a recovery: Everything since then is aftershocks.
The only solution is to get back on the gold standard. At this point I don't think any administration or congress could actually do it. A state could do it, at least technically.

Inky says "What the hell?!"@soapone @randahl No. Rampant enshittification, corporate consolidation, the '08 crash based on a real estate bubble, the turn away from the the rules based world order, the rising trend to nationalism, gold/silver still being seen as the safe place to put money in times of unrest, and everything else has nothing to do with leaving the precious metal standard.
