Scientists have detected another possible Monday arriving as early as next week. If true, this will be the 9th Monday this year. They warn that there are a little over 3 days left to prepare.

Mondays can be bad. Hug those you love and help them through it. Spend these remaining days wisely.

MONDAY FORECAST CONFIRMED!

Scientists from both the US National Calendar Service and the EUโ€™s IIEC (Institut International pour l'รฉtude des Calendriers) have released a joint statement upgrading the chance of a category 1 Monday to 100%.

All the scientific models show Monday making landfall in New Zealand just after Sunday. Australia, China, and Eastern Russia will all be impacted a few hours later. Then, after battering Africa and the Middle East, Western Europe will feel the full force. Unlike a hurricane, Mondays do not generally get weaker as they travel across land.

There will be a pauseโ€”the eye of the Mondayโ€”as it crosses the ocean. Early warning sites in both Canada and Latin America will be the first to detect its arrival on that side of the Atlantic.

Despite 18 hours of continuous Monday, Canada, the US, and Mexico are all predicted to experience a full Monday. It is expected to finally dissipate over the Pacific Ocean sometime just before Tuesday.

@paco

people laughed at the prospects of Radical Calendar Change damage but here we are, just like clockwork. another cat 1 Monday looming. i despair of us ever learning. and with defunding of FEMA (Fighting Every Monday Again), who will come to our aid?

@paco ๐Ÿ˜… ๐Ÿ˜… ๐Ÿ˜… ๐Ÿ˜… ๐Ÿ˜… ๐Ÿ˜…
@paco this makes me want lasagna.
@paco
So depressing ๐Ÿ˜ž
@paco We need to change the days so we have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and then... repeat. As I understand it, for the greater part of human history this is how things were and it was thieves and dictators who established Mondays to enslave us all.
@paco February 26, you have roughly 3.5 days of sanctuary remaining. Use this time for maximum weekend-ing before the inevitable "Monday effect" takes hold. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

@paco and the weather forecast shows sun shiny from a spotless sky, except for a single rain cloud over a suburb house in suburbia.

Never read this comic strip in English, so the translation is haphazard, but WHICH comic strip is on, on your topic.

@paco I feel that there should be more research on how to prevent this sort of thing from happening too often.

@darkling @paco

The top scientists at the AFL-CIO are working on it.

@paco It's much worse when it's a rainy day and a Monday. Always gets me down.
@paco Won't bother me - my first Monday of retirement.
@TimWardCam @paco Congrats! Now every day is Saturday.

@paco perhaps this might help? https://frissics.science/
What is Frissics?

@paco We should start naming them like storms. "A red warning has been issued ahead of Monday Susan, expecting to make landfall on... Monday."
@paco shit shit shit shit!
@paco This Monday early prediction capability sounds amazing. Never heard of it before. It must be a new scientific breakthrough.
@paco Why? Why does this keep happening? There must be something scientists can do to stop these damn Mondays?
@paco Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays!
