Cats are biologically just very sleepy guys, but humans have an innate desire to wake them up and hassle them (because of cuteness). It's no wonder they have a bit of a reputation for being sassy! I would kill anyone who started petting me while I was trying to get my daily 18 hours of sleep.

So I upgraded CareCure to Discourse, and as a side-effect it has broken compatibility with older browsers. Basically, anything older than Chrome 119 (November 2023) doesn't work. I didn't realize how many Windows 7 users I had on the site.

I gave them the obligatory "it's reckless to browse the Internet in 2026 with such a busted-ass machine" speech. But then I discovered Thorium, which is apparently Chrome 122 built for Windows 7. I'm hoping that will work for them.

The whole upgrade treadmill is such a pain. I hope Chrome 122 works and they can get it going. (Though I'd prefer if this was the last straw that got them to upgrade...)
