I don't belive that voting doesn't make any sense
There is proverb in polish "każda władza ludzi zdradza" it's realy good rhyme and mean "every power betrays people" I recognize that indirect voting system is to degree some pressure lever but it's occupied with 'choosing your ruler' so Tramp is horrible for people but also he is natural consequence of insufficiency of this approuch
I belive in self-organizing society and voting once for 4 years was step in this direction but it has gentrified to deegre in wich i think it ruls out the point by on wich this system was established
Im choosing wider perspective by sacrificing easy profit. It's in my opinion better to organizie on specific direct actions and not choosing temp. kings in hope they gonna by better then other ones at maintanig our rights

Some may be Russian trolls, and we certainly can expect these to be active because it has worked so well in the past, but certainly not all. Somehow these folks equate 'not voting' with strength and fighting hard for their principles. That their action (or inaction) actually hurts, and maybe kills, the people they profess to be fighting for is less important to them than this demonstration of 'character.'

@QasimRashid Blocking negative people is what I always do. Regardless of the circumstances, nothing good and useful comes from them.
Their defeatism is a self-fulfilling prophecy, because the world is asymmetric. If your goal is to win, you don't necessarily win. But if your goal is to lose, a defeat is pretty much guaranteed.

The Putinbots are especially fond of attempting to convince people that there's no hope in using the legal system or legislative system or voting, and we should skip straight to civil war and shooting each other on the streets.
It would help if Trump's little failures in the courts got more coverage, but most people seem quite unaware that most of the outlandish things he attempts to do to get blocked pretty quickly. The system is still functioning to a large extent, just not quickly enough to keep up with his edicts and the news cycle, apparently.
