I feel I have to block negative people. Who come into my mentions with "I agree with you but you are f***ing stupid if you think Trump will face justice."

As James Baldwin reminds us, "I never have been in despair about the world. I’ve been enraged by it. I don’t think I’m in despair. I can’t afford despair. I can’t tell my nephew, my niece. You can’t tell the children there’s no hope."

Do not despair my friends. Be angry. Stay angry. But be not hopeless. We will get through this. We will.

@QasimRashid Blocking negative people is what I always do. Regardless of the circumstances, nothing good and useful comes from them.

Their defeatism is a self-fulfilling prophecy, because the world is asymmetric. If your goal is to win, you don't necessarily win. But if your goal is to lose, a defeat is pretty much guaranteed.
