Trudeau's tariffs on Chinese EVs was met by soy and lobster tariffs from China. No one expected Carney to side with EVs, but with autopact new energy lagards.

Both choices would cost, going with internal combustion would require billions for Atlantic Canada and western farms. Lowering EV costs will require job rich support to the electric auto transition in Ontario and Quebec despite Trump.

Its the right choice.
