I am beyond repulsed by rightwing governments in BC who contract out "non-core" tasks inside public services, like food, bus drivers, HandyDart drivers, hospital transfers, laundry, security, cleaning, etc.

The bcndp government and its creatures can end all of these contracts today, and run it all AS the public service we all THINK it is, paying people good money and benefits.

Hopefully, this finally shows people how slimey #gavinnewsom actually is.

It seems like normal people I talk to really like him. But ever since I saw him appear on TV with his ultra-polished, focus-grouped, phony act, I’ve realized that he has already been chosen by the #epstein class as the next president.

Since voting is actually a complete sham, if this law doesn’t torpedo his Presiental campaign, place your bets on that outcome.

Today, I'll be working all by myself on a "critical, top priority" programming task which is kind of essential to keep the company I'm working for alive.

Where are my colleagues, you may ask.

Well, the company refused to renew most of the willing co-worker's contracts and everybody who is still left is attending a two day long "AI workshop" to "transform [company name] into an AI-first company".

I think the only way to escape this hell is to find a therapist who is willing to attest that my brain is no longer able to handle the madness in the IT industry.

And this needs to happen before the corrupt capitalists running this country finish with their holy quest to dismantle public healthcare.
