On a serious note:

I'm very happy to see Pixelmator Pro for iPad! It's the only image editor that's ever made sense to me, and I'm thrilled to see it come to iPadOS.

@viticci The journey from Pixelmator to Pixelmator Photo to Pixelmator Pro for Mac only was brutal from the iPad side.

Glad to see them make it full circle.

I wish I'd gotten the chance to do an App Intents project with them, almost happened right before the acquisition – hoping they bring the Mac actions to iPad

@viticci I worry greatly about the future of Photomator.It feels like they've maybe killed it off ala Aperture and we'll be stuck with using photos.app for photo editing or moving to a 3rd party solution. I was really hoping for a more "Pro" photo curation/editing app and Photomator could have been that...

@viticci I used a @jsnell shortcut to upload the lead image to 6C and the Private Cloud Compute generated alt text made me laugh: "A dark macOS dock with colorful app icons, including a bar chart, lamp, zodiac sign, calendar, cauldron, pencil, compass, envelope, and wave."

@viticci my first significant encounter with icons was being issued a Macintosh 2 for a summer internship at Apple and trying to figure out how to plug everything in. Quickly decided that replacing text labels on the back panel which only English-readers could understand with abstract icons nobody could understand was not an improvement.

@viticci i’m not saying you’re wrong, but this is a very harsh take. I think they should be seen less as self-explained UI icons, but rather as abstract logos for their respective apps. I don’t think they are terrible at that.
