OK phew. A week after my boot drive died, I have installed Debian Trixie and migrated much of my desktop over.

Yay Me. Tomorrow I am buying a small UPS.

Ugh. Okay, I Nuked and Paved my desktop machine after a catastrophic series of power failures Cooked my boot drive. I tried fsck(8) from the rescue disk on the /boot partition, but it was well and truly Done. I have now moved to Debian Trixie in the most traumatic way possible.

Tomorrow I'll re-mount my /home and start figuring out what packages I'll need to reinstall.

Three power failures in rapid succession appear to have Cooked my boot SSD, I guess this is my signal to move to Debian Trixie. But not today, I am too frustrated to Deal with It right now.

This can't be right. I'll believe that the ad itself plus media buys was $2.2 * 10^8

And yeh, I am not defending this.

Very Pleased, especially after an epic battle trying to install the Arduino IDE on Raspbian last night. Looks like the Java interpreter shipped inside the IDE isn't binary compatible with Rasbian Trixie on my slightly older Pi 4 board. And the 1.8.19 IDE that DOES have a binary-compatible Java needs some hideous memory allocation fixing or it runs out of heap. Ugh blech fooey.
