Hi! I'm Craig, a sometime cartoonist, former graphic designer, and retired software developer. I love art, reading, photography, science, cats, music, movies, and gaming. I like playing bass and ukulele, and making music with my brothers. Recently I've been learning about SwiftUI and how to write software for Apple platforms...but then Baldur's Gate 3 came along...

Still trying to figure everything out. As one does. He/him.

I just heard a reporter straight up say that the Artemis II mission will be the first time humans have seen the far side of the moon and I wanted to throw something at the TV. There are several Apollo astronauts who would like to have a word...

C'mon, Apple, I'm already an Apple TV subscriber, so why the hell are you sending me a push notification to subscribe to Apple TV? 🤦‍♂️
While rewatching Star Trek: The Motion Picture it occurred to me that their tricorders are just phones with big-ass camera bumps.

(This *is* nice, but appears to work for the Finder only.)

The Trump regime is deliberately destroying the scientific community in the US. “This is not efficiency. This is not streamlining. This is the systematic elimination of scientific stewardship at the world’s largest biomedical research funder.” https://elizabethginexi.substack.com/p/i-wrote-research-funding-announcements
I Wrote Research Funding Announcements for NIH for 22 Years. This Year They’ve Published 14

How NIH went from 756 funding announcements to 14 in two years — and what it means for every disease that depends on federal research

Funniest joke I heard from Conan O’Brien on the Oscars:

They’re making a sequel to F1.

It’s called CAPS LOCK.

What have I done…
