@marcoarment also, with 48 Mac Minis with 16 GB of RAM each, you might be a bit limited but you should be able to crawl through this with local models and LMStudio and the like https://lmstudio.ai/docs/integrations/claude-code maybe you could use the full big bad frontier LLMs like Opus to prototype the work and build scripts or prompts for a more limited LLM to use and the throw your swarm at it. Eventually they will finish :).

My next app is ChapterPod, an app for podcasters who want to add chapters to their shows. It's in beta today for More Birchtree subscribers, and I expect to launch it later this month.

Introducing ChapterPod, now in beta

Well, it didn't take too long into the new year for me to announce a new app, huh? This is a pretty niche tool, so I don't expect most people to get value from it, but if you create a podcast (or two or three), then I think you're going

Rewatched Lola rennt (Run Lola Run) for the first time in what must be 20 years yesterday.

Holds up well, I think. I loved it when I first watched it in 1998 when it came out but I didn't remember just how much of a roller coaster ride the film really is.

@atpfm the other odd thing was the way it reminded me when I asked it to send a message to my wife “you usually contact her using WhatsApp, would you like me to use that?” which is not bad when you read it, but the tone was just off, felt judged :D.
#askatp @atpfm today I had two encounters with Attitude Siri… first, I asked her to “Play my Station” to get it to play my Apple Music generated playlist based on my taste (one of the dynamic radio station) after I already got it to do successfully and started playing a track (I wanted to generate a new random one)… it just replied “No!” and that is it. Did it ever happen to you?

I played both closed alphas of Marathon, and I liked it better than ARC Raiders—and I really like ARC Raiders. (I’m about to do the big wipe after hitting level 75 amassing 5 million credits.)

This genre is not for everyone, and Marathon is considerably harder and more brutal than ARC Raiders. But if it looks at all interesting to you, I encourage you to check it out…in March 2026.

Sebastian Aaltonen finally finished his "No Graphics API" blog post! Which ends with a graphics API of course :) But it is like 150 lines of "API surface". Pretty cool. https://www.sebastianaaltonen.com/blog/no-graphics-api
No Graphics API — Sebastian Aaltonen

Graphics APIs and shader languages have significantly increased in complexity over the past decade. It’s time to start discussing how to strip down the abstractions to simplify development, improve performance, and prepare for future GPU workloads.
