Andreas K@mndflayr @BoysenberryCider @luhmann Now the question is certainly how much of "Genocide Harris" was actually an organized astroturfing campaign: somehow all these people were very resistant to facts: "Trump literally endorsed genocide: Bibbi do it this time properly", and the US election system is not one that allows one effectively not to vote -> the GOP or the Democrat candidate will win. No real way to provide reliably for a stalled result or other outcomes.
So all the "GenocideHarris" people, by logic, should have been running to the polls voting for Harris, as Trump was always the bigger genocide supporter, and it was clearly Trump OR Harris, no other outcome possible, but that was not their conclusion.
Which smells somehow odd, when one applies "Cui Bono" to it.

And of course that kind of rhetoric was amplified by the right: it was to their advantage. We're struggling in an overworked, underpaid, oligarchy which has been this way for a long time. There are almost no guardrails against fraud and misinformation here. It's a hugely uphill battle and any fighting back is not being publicized.

It's more comfortable to blame whole groups for the awful things going on, because you can reach those people, but none of the people actually responsible will read your toots. But Americans will, so it feels like action.
