I do not think Americans realise the far reaching economic consequences of having elected Donald Trump.

While the Danes have elected a new parliament which may push for less military purchases from the U.S., the citizens of Denmark have now presented two new citizen petitions: One requiring parliament to make it illegal to use Peter Thiel's Palantir AI surveilance software, and another one preventing the use of American technologies in our national health systems.

Welcome to the Trump economy.

The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) were pretty quick in labelling new @ndp leader @avilewis as antisemetic, apparently due to his consistent stance labelling Israel's actions against Gaza a genocide and his support for the Palestinian cause.
This seems to be following the usual Israeli messaging, that any criticism of Israel is ipso facto antisemitic. Having been to two of his rallies there was nothing in his speech against Judaism in general (he's Jewish himself). The only clue in the CIJA statement was: "When a leader declares that Zionism is inseparable from ethnic cleansing, he is not engaging in legitimate policy critique. He is telling Jewish Canadians that a core part of their identity is illegitimate. ".
So, their position is that Zionism is a core part of Judaism and anyone opposing the Gaza genocide is antisemitic. Zionism (as a justification for Israel's genocide) certainly seems like ethnic cleansing. Is that a core part of Judaism?

The minute that Trump is gone, if a Democrat manages to get into the presidency, I 100% GUARANTEE that we will hear "look forward, not backwards" in unison from every fucking Democrat in office. There will be no trials. No prosecutions. Not even any investigations. ICE will still continue to exist, as will the surveillance state and the death camps. They'll just get a little less coverage in the media, and there will be more decorum in who they send into the camps. Maybe they will try to have the inmates in the death camps be a little more diverse.

That's the most anyone can expect from the Democratic Party. And Democrats who are expecting anything different have a big surprise coming, although no doubt most of them will stick their heads up their asses and pretend that everything is fine now.
