As far as I can tell, the US has an Air Carrier group near the Strait of Hormuz but not too close as the drones would sink billions of dollars worth of equipment, not to mention the sailors who'd drown.
A bit shit really...
I remain unconvinced that these things are anything more but lumbering behemoths in the Drone War. They are what Battleships were to the WWII theatre, powerful but vulnerable and outdated by new developments, (ironically 'Aircraft Carriers')
Thinking about how much of the Russian Navy Ukraine has taken out without any aircraft carriers or missile cruisers

In the last month, my wife and myself have narrowly avoided being run over three times by drivers ignoring pedestrian crossings.
Also there is a traffic lights controlled crossroads on busy streets, where there are NO lights for pedestrians. It is busy for pedestrians, too. We have to watch the traffic and move QUICKLY. Does someone have to DIE?
