@Nonilex Starting to tighten the noose. It’s either a big bluff or a precursor to something reckless by the administration in time for the holidays. Evidently quite a bit of GPS jamming going on, either by the US, Venezuela or likely both. Airlines will now avoid this airspace enroute to destinations like Colombia, Brazil. Curaçao and Aruba are too close for comfort.

Here’s the details, although I’d suspect that Venezuela isn’t the only one doing GPS jamming, especially out offshore towards Trinidad.
Anyone going to Aruba for the holidays soon? It’s awfully close.
While small, Venezuela’s air force isn’t toothless, since it has more than 20 Russian Su-30 fighters and in the right conditions, it shouldn’t be underestimated even against overconfident US forces.
