A Kuwaiti court has sentenced state TV host Zainab Dashti to three years in prison for social media posts that were deemed as support for Iran amid the 2026 conflict

Charges: sympathy for a hostile state, incitement of inter-religious discord, and harming national security.

She has been in custody since March. As part of a campaign against pro-Iranian statements in Kuwait, around 1,200 other individuals have also been detained, the publication reports.
