Technically there is no scientific proof they don't cause autism, sure.
But that's only because of the very nature of inductive logic.
Science can't prove a negative.
There however is still absolutely no scientific proof it does cause autism, same as before.

@Wally @arstechnica a few years ago there was a huge metadata study about vccines & autism, it basically reviewed every study ever done on the subject, which was like over 50,000 at the time or something insane, & it found from the stats alone, that not only do vaccines not cause autism, but that the vaccinated population has LESS autism by a statistically insignificant amount lmao. I'll see if i can find itnlater but in todays climate it might not be easy.

What is the "truth" depends on who is in control of the information. Different admins, different "truths." That is why we need educators, people who empower other people form their OWN reasoned opinions, not just indoctrinate them with dogma. We should always remember that the powers that be silenced even Galileo and that claims of mis/dis-information (heresy) can also be used to silence dissent and good science.

True science is a ship of Theseus. Honest scientists promote scientific humility. There are always a lot of unknowns that remain unsettled in many parts of science. Room for pondering.

We don't have a unified theory of physics and biology doesn't look entirely reducible, so much complexity in life!

I haven't spent the time looking through all the citations and reasons why the CDC is changing its position. Maybe you can present a challenge to the changes point by point and appeal to reason rather than a hand-waving dismissal due to political affiliation.

For example, I know #BigPharma is a legitimate problem. There is a #bias due to the interest in patenting chemicals. It is so convenient to commodity a molecule and convenience is not necessarily healthy. The drugs are overpriced and are they really that effective, especially considering all the side-effects? There are really issues that aren't reducible to the Trump administration when it comes to the CDC and medical orthodoxy.
