This is the dumbest fucking thing I’ve read since the last AI thing.
From Judd Legum:
Examples of stocks trump bought days before promoting them or making policy announcements that affect these companies -
Thermo Fisher - $85K - $215K
Apple - $2M - $7.2M
Micron - $217K - $530K
Dell - $1M - $5M
Nvidia - $500K - $1M
AMD - $50K - $100K
Trades were marked “unsolicited”, that is not recommended by a broker, but initiated by the customer.
There are billions more of grift in this kleptocracy.

LOVE this article from my man @zackwhittaker:
“Age verification laws are a lazy way for politicians and governments to appear as if they are tackling online child safety, but without any forethought to the future consequences of amassing vast banks of personal information for verifying people's identities. Rather than holding the ultra-wealthy tech and social media giants accountable for their actions, cowardly and toothless governments are instead requiring ordinary people to shoulder the legal burden. These are the same tech companies that don't pay any tax, all the while governments let them get away with it.”

Huh. Between this and the videos of college grads booing speakers plugging it, it seems like gen AI’s social capital may be collapsing •before• its financials, which I find mildly surprising.
Colorado just legalised ‘balcony solar’ for apartments and renters
From 2027, utilities, landlords and homeowner associations will be restricted from blocking approved systems under 2 kilowatts. While small, these systems can be mounted on apartment balconies, patios and walls, opening rooftop-style solar access to millions of renters and multi-family households previously locked out of the energy transition.
