I’d just point out that strictly speaking among humans euthanasia is an act of empathy, usually carried out with the consent of, and at the behest of, the person being killed, in order to save them from unbearable pain or to help them pass with dignity in the face of terminal illness. That’s not what Kilmeade was suggesting, so the word euthanize lets him off the hook a little bit (if he did not already completely escape accountability).
