Why is every media channel constantly blasting out Reform UK Party Ltd propaganda?

- The Green Party and Plaid Cymru have 4 seats each, the same as Reform.
- Sinn Féin have 7 seats.
- SNP have 9
- Independents have 21
- LibDems have 72.

Jeremy Corbyn:
- MP for 42 years
- Leader of the Opposition for 5 years
- BBC Question Time appearances: THREE

Nigel Farage:
- MP for just over 1 year
- Leader of a minor party with 4 MPs
- BBC Question Time appearances: THIRTY EIGHT

@jbond

Plus … Farage has his own propaganda channel - GB ‘News’.

@jbond Is BBC Question Time the most right wing BBC programme?
@jbond Farage is a creation of the BBC. They want him in Parliament and they want him as prime minister.

@peterbrown @jbond

Will BBC execs get a windfall when it is sold off?

@Fasgadh @jbond they’ll either get a golden farewell or a highly paid job in the new entity. Or both.

Good point though. There must be some reason why the BBC are pushing him so hard.

@peterbrown @jbond it's always looked that way...

@jbond

Reform must have very powerful friends and perceived potential (funding) - Musk is a fan?

Also not a threat to elite wealth like Corbyn, Sinn Fein, Greens, Plaid & the SNP.

(Lib Dems are irrelevant)

@Deixis9
> (Lib Dems are irrelevant)

Not at council level. They control my County Council. And not at National level if they take seats away from Labour & Tory. They could well end up holding the keys to power again at the next election if neither Tory nor Labour get a majority.

@jbond Somebody’s got money 🤔
@jbond The loudmouthed bullies get the stage, time and time over again. Same in NL.
@Frank_Engelhard @jbond After the elections they can hopefully be completely ignored.

@jbond

My theory is that it's a conspiracy.

@Walrus @jbond

it's simple. People with more money and power, want more of both, AND hate public ownership. And they are Right Wing because that always favours a few, typically the rich and powerful (though fascism's essence stresses social elites and victims).

Right Wing and Money go together like bread and butter. And they both hate democratic public power.

@jbond
I've come to the conclusion that the call is coming from inside the house.
@jbond It is WEIRD. Has been since Brexit. I don't get it.
@jbond I do not understand this either. I thought Far*ge was PM or something, seeing how frequent he appears in the news

@jbond Your comparison to other parties is fair but I’m not sure about the comparison between Corbyn & Farage’s Question Time appearances.

For one it’s extremely rare for LOTO to go on QT I’m assuming this is from LOTO side so those 5 years you’d expect 0. Before he was LOTO he was one of 232 labour MP’s so on average if he wanted to should have an appearance if wanted one roughly once every 5 years if he wanted. You’d think people would want Secretaries of State & ministers on more often than once every 5 years so that would probably push it past 5 years. It wouldn’t surprise me if Farage rings up every week asking to be on whereas I don’t think Corbyn likes to do media that much.

Don’t get me wrong Farage is on too often just don’t think it’s a fair comparison.

@jbond

That will be because the production company who actually make the programme have numerous extreme right-wing fückwits on their staff including one senior member of the QT production team who has a history of supporting extreme right wing organisations and causes!
