When I was a youngster in the late 1980s, I formed an Amiga game dev team with 2 friends.

Before making games, we started by trying to sell game music that used minimal RAM, made with our music editor SIDmon.

To promote our game music, this energetic music module was composed by our musician Ramon Braumuller. The file, including tiny sampled sounds, is only 22 kilobytes.

Before making games, we tried to sell low-RAM game music, made with our own music editor called SIDmon.

Following my previous post, here's a second recording of an army game demo tune by our former #Amiga game team's musician Ramon Braumuller.

@metin haaaa but this is so good !!! would love to make music like this, tried my hand with Ardour's midi tracks but it's a whole factory, difficult to learn
@hadriscus Yes, it required quite some practice to create something in the old Amiga editors, which consisted of columns with notes, like G#4, A#2 et cetera, accompanied by codes that indicated which sound and effects each note should trigger.
@metin it's all the more impressive outputting something like this with an ancient tool. But you said you made it in-house ?

@hadriscus Thanks. Yes, we were a team of three youngsters, an Assembly coder, a music composer and a graphic artist / game designer (me). We made two music editors for the #Amiga, named SIDmon and Digital Mugician. Ramon made the tunes for our games and demos in our own editors.
