Backcast - an app that shows you the past 5 days of weather for a given location, and calculates how likely the ground is to be dry. I personally will use this quite a bit for #mountainbiking #offroading and #camping. I'm also hoping it'll be useful for #hiking and #trailrunning.

@JaxonEvans this would be very cool for climbers. You need to wait at least 24-48 hours before climbing on soft stone after a rain. I would love to test if you need it.

@Abiv I can’t believe I didn’t think of that! I used to do a ton of climbing, although mostly inside. Hoping to do a release in the next week 🤞🏽

I love the idea of using this BackCast app to chat with my weather sensitive friends.

“I don’t care about if it looks like rain tomorrow, do you realize that the spot where you are standing only received 13 mm of rain this last week?!?”

When I say chat, I really mean trolll.
